Mt.Fuji Guide
There are four climbing routes.
It takes 5 to 8 hours to climb.
The Yoshida Route runs from Yamanashi Prefecture, and the Fujinomiya, Subashiri, and Gotemba routes run from Shizuoka Prefecture.
Mt. Fuji has been worshiped as one of the three holy mountains in Japan since ancient times.
Yoshida Trail

Yoshida route is popular among climbers so it will be busy during the peak season.
Fujinomiya Trail

Most short route.
Subashiri Trail
Red:Subashiri Trail (Shizuoka Pref.)

Long route.
Gotenba Trail

Most long route.
Prince Trail
Prince trail.
The route that the Emperor climbed when he was Crown Prince.
This route is a lot of fun.
You can see the crater (mt, Houei) that erupted 300 years ago.
Ohachi Meguri

There is a crater on the summit, and walking around the crater is called "Ohachi meguri".Walking around the crater takes about 1 to 2 and a half hours, so if you have enough time and stamina, definitely check it out.

Around the crater, there are several sight seeing spots such as Kusushi shrine, Sengen taisha okumiya, and Kengamine where you can take photos.
